Even more time for Enchantment at Brodsworth Hall

English Heritage has this morning announced earlier opening times for Brodsworth Hall’s Enchanted Gardens following record visitor numbers over the last few day. The Enchanted Garden will now open at 6.00pm rather than 6.30pm.

“This is an event which just grows and grows year on year; visitors love it and then tell their friends, who come the following night, and so it gets busier and busier,” explains event manager, Jon Hogan. “The last two nights, The Enchanted Garden has welcomed record visitor numbers, with around 3000 visitors passing through the gates, so we’re planning to open 30 minutes earlier to help speed the parking and entrance time for all our visitors.”

With peak visitor numbers arriving for opening time, visitors are also recommended to delay their arrival slightly. “There is always a flood of visitors for opening time, but in reality, those arriving at 8.00pm still have plenty of time to get around before we turn the lights off at around 9.00pm,” adds Jon.

The event, which is sponsored by Ecclesiastical Insurance, now runs from 6.00pm to 9.00pm (last admissions at 8.30pm) daily from Friday 23 October to Sunday 1 November 2009.

Admission prices are: Advance tickets: £6.50 for adults, £5.50 for concessions and £5.00 for children. English Heritage Members £5.00/ £4.00/ £3.50. On the Night tickets: £7.50/£6.50/£6.00. EH Members £6.00/ £5.00/ £4.50 Tickets available in advance from Customer Services on 0870 333 1183 or in person from the site.

Queue-busting pre-booked tickets are strongly recommended, as queues can be quite long. For information please contact Brodsworth Hall on 01302 722598.
