Case study - Sports Rewards for Schools

In 2004 Footprint originated a loyalty scheme for longstanding schoolwear retailer Rawcliffes Intersport that also encouraged sport in schools, whereby parents received a ‘Sport Rewards’ voucher for every £10 spent in a Rawcliffes store.  These vouchers were collected by schools and exchanged for sports goods - anything from footballs through to tennis nets and branded team kits.  One school in Halifax collected 6550 in vouchers and was able to claim hundreds of pounds of sports goods!

Footprint designed, prepared and printed the entire scheme, including 500,000 vouchers, posters and newsletters explaining the scheme that went to every parent via the schools.  Useful follow-up publicity was gained from delivering prizes to schools across the north of England, but more importantly, the scheme helped cement relationships with schools for this leading schoolwear supplier.
