Case study - Media relations The Academy Spa in Harrogate was launched in 1995 as a one-off venture. Its success has been confirmed since winning the British Beauty Award for “UK Day Spa of the Year 2000”. Recognition of its success is partly down to the role of media relations in placing the business at the forefront of industry development. Footprint provides the media relations support, writing and placing articles and features and handling all media enquiries.
